hello to those who read….
i played with texture today on these pictures just to see what would happen….hmmmm…interesting!! Most textures below are a paper bag…..another hmmmm….
nevertheless…texture or not….my littles celebrated their grilled cheese for dinner…a little late at the workroom…so we ditched the real dinner….and evidently that was a good thing…right? don’t i wish that this reaction came with a plate of stuffed chicken or roasted something….a little more effort….i love their simplicity…i think it might be adults that complicate things….truly….

you know? when they stop “doing” and moving…sometimes you get a precious second where the look on their face tells you every reason why you love them…kindof a glimpse of their whole person in one moment…the honesty that comes with some of their looks changes my life….i am so grateful when i am near for that moment….

speaking of near…and moments…nevermind the sprinkles bouncing off the blinds from the 9 million valentines cookies that we did that morning (BTW, i think you have to be a master chef or baker-person to do sugar cookies WELL….ugh)…i will be grateful to remember her little footed sleeper on her favorite “i want to help you mommy” chair….

speaking of party food….the only problem? it wasn’t HER party….

but it was his…..

it is time (in our family)….to do a family birthday party and then a “get together” with besties…so we did….and had a wonderful time…
