hello to those who read…

isn’t it neat that i didn’t already do the 10th post? (not that i don’t want you to know about ashlee, but it is just neater now that woman #10 ended up being someone different within about 10 minutes)…my plans are not always God’s plans…he knew ahead of time…well before i did that Ashlee Cooper would have some urgent plan changes …. so he started laying the groundwork well before i knew it….

sooooo…..introducing you to Susanne King….of Susanne King Studios from Birmingham….

Susanne has helped us with some of the catalog pictures for the spring catalog….and she just opened her new studio!!  We have developed a neat relationship because of our work and i have so enjoyed getting to know her, her family, and all of the neat things that are going on in her life. 

Susanne is a photography instructor and has a wonderful & humorous way of conveying concepts that can confuse…

Thank you sweet susanne for spending your saturday with us….your are such a blessings to me…thanks for your time and talents….and i can’t wait to see the pics….

Susanne is having an open house this weekend at her new studio…please don’t miss this one!! Favorite Laundry is offering one of the many gift certificates that will be given as prizes…in addition there will be a grand prize …which i am hoping for everyone’s sake is a photoshoot with susanne!!!

Psalm 51: 10-12

Lindsay is precious to me because of her honest and humble spirit…teachable and free-spirited…creative and more fun than your favorite day to be around… she is a breath of fresh area with a resolve to do new things, manage life well…..and the guts to do what it takes for Bowen Frances to have a wonderful life…she is incredibly sensitive to the Holy Spirit and loves people…she is truly a treat to be around…

Frilly Frances tutus belongs to Lindsay and her background is incredibly valuable in her efforts…she helps me every time we talk – know it or not….an incredible eye for what is fabulous and she is constantly keeping me current with fashion sense…she is contagious and i am incredibly excited that she is a part of this weekend…

hello to those who read…

good morning..again…

my nights have been filled with updating a business plan…que “awwwww…poor thing”….so…as a result, you guys get the mornings for blog posts….the business plan and i have a very important meeting Friday…thanks to my DH for his support, attention to detail, and report-making help!!

 i learned a few things the last time i had an important meeting….(although not the hard way) that you should take a shower, wear something that the people wear in the tall-shiny-expensive buildings wear….and have your thoughts completely gathered….it went well last time (thank you Jesus for covering me with all of your grace that day)…but now i know enough to be nervous…FRIDAY LUNCH…the day all of the girls are coming….yup Friday…big meeting…more grace please…and a short meeting hopefully…but not too short at the same time…right? if it is important it should take awhile….

so i started writing about woman #8 and well here goes…

Amelia and i have been friends since college…i was there the night she met her husband…i still remember him saying how beautiful she was….and is. It is difficult to describe how important a best friend is…she is a sister to me but better because there is no irritation there…that all sounds cliche but it is very true and i guess there is a reason it is said often, right? We have worked together for a long time and she is such an incredible person to listen to, work beside, confide in, and spend time with. I love her ideas because they are almost always different than mine (she would say i do not always love her ideas ). You will most often find Amelia working quickly and efficiently, blackberry attached to her head and right in the middle of clothes or doing something fun with her kids. 

She is a mom to two…kate (6) & jackson (4)…wife to one, Scot….likes exercising, spending time with friends and family, tulips, and gardening

loves…her humongus family….working with an orphanage in honduras & scripture…

Ephesians 2:1-10

“ ¹As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, ²in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. ³All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature^[a] and following its desires and thoughts. She has a love for people and is incredibly generous with her time & affections. She loves my kids as i do hers. She has a funny little knack for remembering people, positions of orders, weird details, and stories….a fabulous match for my horrible historian self. We could not be more different in some ways but somehow our goals end up the same. She has walked beside me during my story and has been in the carpet with me while i cried and she knows why i was there. I admire most that she is a woman of God changing daily to be more like him….she is being molded right before my eyes. Amelia is the reason that BBTN travels to more than 220 parties per season and i am grateful for her work ethic… she has to give me a five year notice if she would ever like to do something else….now public record. (THAT GOES FOR SHELLEY TOO)

Andrea and I went to Auburn together and were sorority sisters…we met during rush but became very close friends throughout those years….i think i lived with her for weeks at one point even while having another place to live….she is also my “little sister” in phi mu and i could not be more grateful…..what a wonderful experience college was and she was a super huge part of all of those memories…”pete” was her nickname to me (and those close) and i will always be grateful for our friendship…

now…married with families, living in different cities we have been able to loosely keep in touch over the past years…she works with us through BBTN…serving as a hostess in the florence area…(AC and I have traveled to be at their party and i just loved getting to meet her friends and experience a tiny fraction of florence)…

Andrea is an amazing photographer….always as a hobby…her beautiful children are documented incredibly well i can imagine….this picture was taken in laguana beach (sp?) with a blackberry folks…incredible!!  i am convinced that my blackberry takes better pictures than some of the point and shoots that i have owned in the past….hmmmm

i am so looking forward to finishing a conversation (about whatever just because kids aren’t interrupting), sharing a meal, and staying under the same roof….

oh… will there be a time where years don’t seem like months and days don’t seem like minutes…..??? time flies by but in my heart’s thoughts, it seems like time stands still…
